I must admit, I’m usually one for bigger bags. I just can’t seem to pare down my load enough for a wristlet. All the same, they still appeal to me. And sometimes you really do just need something small. I loved the simplicity of this wristlet, and the opportunity to do some embroidery.

I am preparing a nursery for my baby, and it’s not done yet. I’ll be sharing photos with you soon. I’ve made bedding and accessories from some adorable fabrics, but I probably won’t be ready to share the whole shebang with you until later in June.

Bias tape can be purchased fairly inexpensively, but sometimes you’re in a bind and you need some right away. It’s really easy to make using an inexpensive little doodad and some strips of fabric. It can be as basic as grabbing some solid colored cotton, or sometimes you’re looking for something you couldn’t get [...]

In last week’s post, we made the quilt sandwich for this baby quilt and quilted it using free-motion quilting. Then we applied the backing afterward and basted it all together. In this week’s tutorial, we will create bias binding and apply it. Any quilt takes time, and this one is no exception, but if you aren’t [...]

If you’re not familiar with quilting techniques, you can still make a little baby quilt quite easily. These quilt panels require no special cutting or piecing. Just add batting, quilt in the manner of your choice and add a super-soft backing like minky.
