Thin elastic

To determine the fabric you’ll need, measure the book or notebook you are covering and add 1 inch to the height and 5 inches to the width. I used the same fabric for my lining, but you can use a different fabric. The pattern says to use flannelette, but I used thin batting.

I used beading cord elastic for my closure, but you can use any thin elastic.
