Putting a zipper pocket into a bag seems tricky, but it’s actually quite simple. I originally learned how to do this from U-Handbag, but I am re-creating the tutorial here for you.

I must admit, I’m usually one for bigger bags. I just can’t seem to pare down my load enough for a wristlet. All the same, they still appeal to me. And sometimes you really do just need something small. I loved the simplicity of this wristlet, and the opportunity to do some embroidery.

I’m pregnant, and I recently bought a fancy-pants designer diaper bag that’s compact and looks like a purse. But, really, who am I trying to kid? I could maybe fit the contents of my purse in there, but with baby stuff, too? No way. I mean, every day when I walk into work I have [...]

I don’t know about you, but I’m often motivated by cute clothes or accessories. Maybe with a cute yoga mat bag like this, I’d have a reason to actually dust off my mat and head to class.
Most yoga mat bags I’ve seen are tubular with a drawstring. That works just fine, but sometimes you [...]

These cute little bags can be used for practically anything – makeup, knitting projects, organizing your tote bag. The box bag is the perfect size for a sock knitting project. I have provided a tutorial below on how to make a lined version of this bag with no unsightly raw seams.

Making your own fabric bags means you’ll always have unique accessories. I have lots of them, and I get compliments all the time. They really stand out.
